A prominetent chief and council member of the Zazzau Emirate, Kabiru Buhari, has been killed in Kaduna.Buhari was shot dead on his farm by an unknown assassin.

His body and car was found on his farm at Maigiginya in Nariya, Kabala West, Kaduna, by a search team on friday. A fellow chief of the emirate who spoke to newsmen said;
“We closed from Council with him around 5p.m. on Thursday where I think he proceeded to his farm Maigiginya. (continue)

Singer, Eunb of Popular K-pop group, Ladies Code has died after being involved in a car crash. The whole group was involved a ghastly auto accident on Wednesday morning, which left band member Rise in critical condition and bandmate SoJung with serious injuries.

The South Korean group’s label, Polaris Entertainment, released a statement on the incident.
 “After a schedule in Daegu on September 2, LADIES′ CODE was headed back to Seoul,around 1:30 AM in Suwon, an issue occured with the car′s back wheel coming off. (Continue)

The Bayelsa state police command has confirmed the death of Chief Eseni Adigie,an 87 year old uncle of former Bayelsa state governor, Timipreye Sylva.

Eseni died in the hands of his abductors in Kula community, a border town between Rivers and Bayelsa state. May his soul rest in peace!

The shocking death of a 16 year old student,Temidayo Josesph, 16 has left police officers puzzled as the circumstances sorrounding his death are suspicious.

Dayo, had gone to his school, Ockendon Academy near Thurrock, Essex, on Thursday to collect his GCSE exam results but was found dead few hours after collecting it. The police is suspecting foul play and are yet to conclude investigations.

Effiom Etim Effiong, a 27 year old final year microbiology student of the University of Calabar has been arrested and arraigned for the murder of Dr. Godwin Iwatt, a lecturer in the same department.

Iwatt,who was also an examination and record officer in the department, was shot by an unknown gunman but died a few days later in hospital due to complications from the bullet wound. Police investigations revealed that Effiom had sent a series of threat messages to the late lecturer from his phone.(continue)

Decontee Sawyer, wife of Nigeria's first case of Ebola, Patrick Sawyer, has expressed deep sadness over the death of Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh, the first consultant hospital doctor who treated the late sawyer.

In a statement made available to leadership Ng, Decontee stated ;
“I share the pains that the family members of the Nigerian doctor are going through. It is just a pity that Patrick had to cause this damage both in Liberia and Nigeria.I want to reach out to them and express how deeply saddened and sorry I am for their loss and their pain.(continue)

An amazon has indeed fallen....

Dr. Stella Ameyo Adadevoh, one of the doctors who treated the late Patrick Sawyer, died yesterday, August 19th, from the deadly Ebola virus. The 58 year old doctor who was responsible for stopping Sawyer from leaving first consultant hospital, Obalende after he was diagnosed with the disease, fell into a coma on monday and died early tuesday morning.

She was the fifth person to die from Ebola in Nigeria. May her soul rest in perfect peace.

Unilag students held a candle light session recently for one of theirs who died of throat cancer. Yakubu Yusuf, who needed millions of naira for surgery, gave up the ghost on July 22nd 2014 after the money could not be raised, despite the massive social media campaign carried out by his fellow students.

A sister to the late justina Ejelonu, a nurse who died from Ebola in lagos, has cried out on the Stigmatization her family is facing. Onyinye Anugwolu, a married elder sister of Justina, complained to SH reporters bitterly on the discrimination she is facing with her family.

Anugwolu  who works and lives in Enugu state, says that her husband was sent on a compulsory leave from office by his employers out of fear that he might have contracted the deadly disease. She further revealed that she had not seen Justina since October 2013.

In her words;
“I haven’t seen her since October last year,We are not in contact.Wherever my sister is, her soul will be at peace for bringing her plight to illuminate and force the government to act against Ebola''

His name is Nduka Ezeagwuna and he is the new Obi of Issele - Uku.  His father, Henry Ezeagwuna, the former Obi died in a car crash last weekend.

Nduka was to celebrate his birthday on August 28th and his loving father had already been distributing invitation cards before the unfortunate incident.Nduka is a 300 level student of Chemical engineering at the University of Ibadan.

A major accident occurred on Eko bridge late last night claiming the lives of over 15 people and left several others injured. Details of how the accident occurred are still very sketchy but i managed to get a photo from the scene.

A 6 year old girl has died after being struckdown by a car driven by her mother. Shodipe Bolutito was hit bey her mom outside Hounslow West tube station in south-west London just before 9:40am on Wednesday.

Police reports state that both mother and daughter had come out to the train station car park, bolutito was hit as her mother tried to park her car.Paramedics tried to rescucitate the poor girl but she was pronounced dead at St. mary's hospital, paddington. She was the eldest daughter.

A brazilian presidential candidate, Eduardo Campos has died after being involved in a plane crash yesterday.

49 year old Campos and his entourage were aboard a private jet that crashed into a residential area sloe to the city of Santos, due to bad weather.The crash killed all passengers onboard.

Now, back to business, A witness who was at the scene of Micheal brown's shooting has come forward to narrate how his friend was gunned down by a Ferguson police officer in Ferguson, St.loius,Missouri.

Dorian Johnson, Michael Brown's friend who was with him at the time of the shooting spoke to NBC news on the series of events that led to the fatal shooting.

American actor and Comedian, Robin williams has died at the age of 63.

A statement from the assistant chief deputy coroner of Marin County announced on Monday that the Coroner Divisions of the Sheriff’s Office “suspects the death to be a suicide due to asphyxia, but a comprehensive investigation must be completed before a final determination is made.”
