Owner of the SUN newspapers and former governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor Kalu paid a condolence visit to the Dimgba Igwe family at their residence in Okota, Lagos state. The businessman comemmorated with Mrs. Obioma Igwe, who looked physically drained from the shock over her husband's sudden death.May God grant her and her children the strength to bear the loss.

I have gotten more Information on how vice chairman of the Sun Newspapers, Dimgba Igwe died on Saturday 6th of August. According to an Eyewitness who was at the scene of the accident, Dimgba was hit by a Toyota Corolla vehicle driven by a male.

The accident occurred around 6am along Ibe road, Okota, where Dimgba regularly jogs most mornings,the vehicle was coming into a corner at top speed and in a bid to avoid a pothole hit Dimgba.(continue)

Vice Chairman of the Sun Newspapers, Dimgba Igwe has died from injuries sustained this morning from an accident in Okota area of Lagos state.

Dimgba was having his early morning Jog close to Akpata memorial school when he was knocked down by a car. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where he gave up the Ghost. I just feel so sad.....His daughter,Glory used to be my friend..we went to the same secondary school.....May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Sorry for being MIA yesterday, I nearly lost my dad too...it's a very long story, i spent the whole of yesterday in hospital by his side but i thank God he was discharged today and he is doing fine.
