Yesterday, Wednesday september 3rd 2014, a group of activists including Dr. Joe Okei Odumakin and actor, Saidi Balogun walked from under-bridge at Obafemi Awolowo way in Ikeja to the park named after the radical Lawyer, Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park at Ojota to commemorate the fifth year of his demise.

Widow of Late Nigerian lawyer and activist, Gani Fawehinmi, Mrs. Ganiat Fawehinmi has expressed her unhappiness over Nigeria's current leadership.

Speaking in an interview with Sahara TV, she stated her displeasure with the president and also expressed shock over the increased killings and threats to life of firebrand lawyers in Nigeria.
