The federal government has just announced the reinstatement of the sacked resident doctors.

UPDATE:

The Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu announced that the suspension of the residency training programme in all federal hospitals with effect from Thursday, August 28 has been rescinded, thus reversing the sack of over 16,000 resident doctors.
