Above is the picture of Darren wilson, the police officer who shot dead  Micheal brown,an unarmed teenager whose death has sparked huge protests and an excessive police crackdown in Ferguson, St. louis, Missouri.

Darren and his family have reportedly fled St. louis before the police released his name. He has been with the police for 6 years and was a resident of St. louis.

Officers of the Nigerian police force in ogun state have fired teargas at the protesting students of the Olabisi Onabanjo state University(OOU) students.

The student who were protesting for a reduction in their school fees turned violent after the police fired teargas and destroyed properties worth hundreds of thousands. The students who started the protest yesterday, Thursday august 14th, camped overnight at the Rev. Kuti secondary school, abeokuta before resuming their protest at 6:30 am this morning.(continue. photos below....)

Tensions have increased in Ferguson, Missouri and across the entire country as people mostly black folks have taken to the streets protesting and rioting over the unlawful shooting of a teen, 18 year old Micheal Brown.

Now, another young lady has been shot in the head by a riot police officer. A Howard university graduate by the name of Mya Aaten-White,who has been peacefully protesting in St. Louis, was shot in the head by police who are reportedly trying to pass it off as a drive by shooting according to fellow protesters.

Because of a political party...you shoot your own son?...na wa oo!

A Traditional ruler in Rivers state has been arrested for shooting his son for not joining the APC political party. This occurred yesterday at Rumuoprikom community during a fracas between members of the PDP and APC.

The traditional ruler of Rumuoprikom community, Eze Anthony Owabie allegedly opened fire his son,Prince Clement Ndidi Owabie over his refusal to join APC.Rivers state Police Commissioner, Mr Tunde Ogunsakin confirmed that the father of the boy who was shot and two others had been arrested by the Police, adding that a local gun was recovered from one of them.The fracas between the political thugs started when they heard Gov. Amaechi was visiting the community yesterday as part of his ward tour.
