OSHIOMOLE APPOINTS PATRICK OBAHIAGBON AS CHIEF OF STAFF

The governor of Edo state, Comrade Adams Oshiomole has appointed former lawmaker and member representing Oredo constituency in the lower chamber of the National Assembly, Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon as chief of staff of the state.

The grandiloquent speaker’s appointment was announced yesterday and would be sworn in by 10.00 am today in Edo state government house. Patrick Obahiagbon is known for his elaborate use of big words i.e (big grammar) that are only found in highly advanced dictionaries.

Oshiomhole also appointed his former Special Adviser on Policy Monitoring, Professor Julius Ihonvbere as the Secretary to the State Government. Mr. Godwin Obaseki remains the Chairman of the Economic Team, and the former Chief of Staff, Mr. Osarodion Ogie, is Vice Chairman of the Economic Team.

Mr. Peter Okhiria retained his position as Chief Press Secretary while Princess Theresa Erediauwa also retained her position as the focal person and Executive Director, Millennium Development Goals (MDG).
