The Economic and Financial crimes commission,EFCC has charged 7 out of 20 arrested internet Fraudsters(yahoo yahoo boiz) in the city of Benin,Edo state.The 7 suspects were arraigned before a Benin high court.
They suspects;Philip Agbodobri, Peter Sunday, , Eloghosa Ocikiabor, Osagie Aghedo Bliss, Idehen Obabueki Bleek,Nnamdi Obinna, Amegor Ovenseri were arraigned before Justice Ajoku P.I of the Federal High Court 2, Benin on separate charges bordering on conspiracy to commit felony and obtaining money under false pretences, respectively
The suspected internet fraudsters were arraigned at different dates between the 18th, 21st and 22nd of February, 2013. They all pleaded not guilty to the charges.The Judge adjourned their case to April 22, 25 and 29 for trials. The court ordered that the suspects be remanded in prison custody.
The fraudster were arrested by officers of the JTF and handed over to EFCC on January 18th in Benin.
