folks, i can authoritatively tell you that Movida Nightclub will not be opening anytime soon...as we all know,CEO and owner of the club, Akeem Shodeinde has been down with diabetes for some time now..about 2 months back, it was all over the news that he reopened the club, he actually did that but it did not take up to 2 weeks before he shut it down again for more renovation. sources close to him say that his illness resurfaced and he is currently shuttling in and out of hospital. This according to them, is the major reason why the club is still shut.
Movida Night Club used to be one of the hottest places to enjoy and have a good nighttime in Lagos, but due to ill health, Akeem has been unable to reopen and manage the club. He has not been seen at any social event lately and his whereabouts are unknown to the public.
