Mr.Michael Chinda, the legislator who was brutally beaten and hit with mace during the fight that occurred in the Rivers state assembly, would be flown abroad for medical treatment.

This was announced by the minister of state for Education, Mr Nyesom Nwike. Chinda was among the five legislators that attempted to impeach the Speaker Otelemaba Amachree, igniting the fracas.

In a video released online somedays back, a man adorning a white traditional attire and a red cap is seen smashing the mace on Chinda's head. Chinda was also attacked by two other men,One was in military regalia while the other was dressed in black traditional clothing.

Chinda lost one of his teeth and had a big laceration on his head. he is currently in Critical condition.

    Can somebody post a video of the fight that was fought by the five lawmakers before the arrival of Amaechi and his group? Only the one on the arrival of Amaechi and his boys was shown. Let the media be objective and fair to all concerned pls.
