Adewale Ayuba to bury parents on November 30th

Fuji king, Adewale Ayuba will be having a final burial ceremony for his late father and mother on November 30th 2013.

The ceremony will be held in Ikenne Remo Ogun state.

His father Alhaji Ayuba died as far back as 1994 while his mother Alhaja Alimotu who was the Arowosadeen of Ikene Remo died in 2009, both were buried immediately according to Muslim rites which include the 8th day Fidau prayers. When our reporter asked why the burial was just taking place he said;“It’s more of a celebration of life…party la fe se…” he quipped in Yoruba. “You know when they died, they were buried according to Islamic rites and the children were not together, some of us were abroad and some were here so it is just now that we are all together that we are doing the final burial”
