Yaya toure of cote d'ivoire beat Mikel and Drogba to clinch the African footballer of the year award 2013. The event is going on at the Eko hotel and suites in lagos.

This is Toure's 3rd time of winning this award. Stephen Keshi won the coach of the year, Kelechi Iheanacho won the most promising talent.
