The Kwara state Police command has arrested 3 out of 6 male students of the state College of Health Technology, Offa, for allegedly raping a female student.
It was discovered that the young men in custody and the remaining 3 at large gang raped the young lady till she lost consciousness.According to the police, the victim was drugged and raped mercilessly until she passed out. How wicked!
The state Commissioner of Police, Ambrose Aisabo, who briefed newsmen on the incident, said the female student is receiving treatment at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH).
The commissioner assured that the remaining three suspects who are at large would be captured and brought to justice alongside their arrested colleagues. The case, he added, would be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.
He said items recovered at the scene of the crime include three used condoms, a pair of female underwear, lady’s shoes and phone.
