Governor Fashola has approved the reopening of Lagos state University after it was shut down roughly 4 weeks ago after students violently protested over the closure of the exam registration portal.

Fashola's special adviser on Media, Mr Hakeem Bello told newsmen on Friday in Ikeja that the governor took the decision to reopen the institution in the best interest of the students.He has also approved N 51 million for repairs of the Facilities damaged during the riot.

He also urged student to return back to school peacefully on Monday and to be of good conduct.
