A man has been remanded in prison custody for allegedly blinding a married woman who refused his sexual advances.
Kingsley Arinze,35, has left Mrs Amaka Ohanwe, a married mother of 2 blind after he brutally attacked her at a hair salon.According to Amaka, She and kingsley are friends but not lovers. She revealed that she started keeping her distance from him when she noticed he wanted to have S*x with her.
He made several attempts but all were futile, he became very angry and decided to deal with Amaka.So one faithful day, This fool traced her to a Hair salon on Pen Crescent, Apapa, Lagos where she went to have her hair done and attacked her in front of the beauty shop. He rained abuses on her before attacking her. he threw her to the ground and continually headbutted her on the right eye.
The culprit then took off on his motorcycle boasting that nothing could be done to him. Amaka was taken to a nearby hospital by neighbours.She reported the case to the police but alleged that she was asked to collect N30,000 for her eye operation in order to settle the matter out of court.she claims to have spent over N200,000 on the surgeries but they were not successful.
Kingsley was apprehended by the police at Area ‘B’ Apapa. They charged him with assault before Apapa Magistrate’s Court, he plead not guilty. The Judge granted bail of N50,000 and 2 sureties. He was remanded in Kirikiri Prisons in Lagos State when he could not meet the bail conditions.
