A sudanese woman sentenced to death by hanging for renouncing Islam has given birth in Jail.According to her husband, Daniel, prison officials did not let him see her.“Until now I did not see them. They didn’t allow me to go in and see,” he told AFP.“I’m disappointed really,” he said from a prisons office where he was continuing efforts to see his wife and newborn daughter.

Meriam Yahia Ibrahim Ishag, 27, is being held at a women’s prison in Khartoum’s twin city of Omdurman. She was sentenced to death on the 15th of May 2014 after being given 3 days to renounce her Christianity.
Meriam also has a 20 month old son, who is incarcerated with her. Both mother and newborn baby are doing fine.

Pls..the international community should step into this matter...so someone cannot choose the religion he/she wants to follow...does it warrant death?
