Mbu explains reason for placing a ban on #bringbackourgirls protest in Abuja

Mbu J. Mbu, the tough Abuja police commissioner that has been under fire since yesterday for placing a ban on all forms of #bringbackourgirls protests in abuja, has explained the reasons for such an action.

He said this in a news conference on monday,

Information reaching us is that too soon dangerous elements will join the groups under the guise of protest and detonate explosive(s) aimed at embarrassing the government. Accordingly protests on the Chibok Girls is hereby banned with immediate effect.As the FCT police boss, I cannot fold my hands and watch this lawlessness.People have been protesting over a month now…it is the issue of terrorism, it is not solved in one day.Then, when you continue to do it persistently, it becomes nuisance to the government.
