The University of Lagos has resumed normal academic activities after students protested early yesterday morning over a demand of N25,000 for late registeration. The students became livid yesterday when they were told of the N15,000 addition to the normal N10,000 reg. fee.

Well, late yesterday, The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic & Research, Prof. Babajide Alo, who addressed the students as they occupied the senate building, directed that the increased charges from N10, 000 for late registration of courses, to N25, 000, were immediately reversed. he also added that the imposition of various charges on students to register separately for General Studies (GST) courses were also reversed.

He advised the students who had paid to approach their faculty officers with teller evidence for a refund.He revealed that the registration portals, which had been shut down have been re-opened for students to edit their courses for examination.
