Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) has been reopened today by its management after it was shut down in August on the orders of Ogun state governor, Ibikunle Amosun following its students violent protests against a hike in School fees.(continue)

The Head of the University's Corporate Affairs Division, Vice-Chancellor’s Office of the University, Niyi Oduwole announced the reopening of the institution yesterday as it was based on the approval of the university’s governing council.Students are to resume on Monday 29th of September, 2014 in continuation of their 2013/2014 academic session.
