Nigeria’s foremost sports journalist, Deacon Ayo Ositelu is dead, He died on Wednesday evening in his home while watching television.

The news of his death spread around last night and was reliably confirmed by Family friend, Kayode Tijani, Ositelu was a respected sports journalist who achored the Sunday sport editing for Punch.

May his soul rest in perfect peace
