Gunmen attack primary school,shoot teachers

Armed men suspected to be members of the dreaded Jihad sect Boko Haram, attacked a primary school in kano last Tuesday.

The bandits opened fire on the teachers injuring 4 of them,they made the teachers at Dan Maliki Primary School lie flat on the ground before shots were fired.The gunmen attacked the head teacher and three other teachers, leaving them severely wounded, said police spokesman Magaji Musa Majiya.

None of the pupils was harmed.

“They made the teachers lie down on the ground, then there were gunshot sounds and everyone scampered to safety,” said Hauwa Jinjiri, a trader working on the school premises who witnessed the attack.
