how would you react if your child is homosexual?

I believe there are many kids who are scared to tell their parents about their sexuality...in the US and UK it's no longer a problem since they legalised it, but here in our country..it's a taboo.

if you have a child that is gay or lesbian and you recently discovered it...what will you do? would you   condone it and help the child or beat the ''evil spirit'' out of the child?
