A 25 year old bricklayer, Anuoluwapo Akinloye is in the police net for allegedly killing his girlfriend, Rafiyat Akinyemi.
Anuoluwapo slaughtered Rafiyat in her Ogun state home. According to police Investigations, Anuoluwapo killed the poor girl because she broke up with him. On the day of the incident, Anuoluwapo sneaked into Akinyemi's home and attempted to have sex with her.
She refused, thus infuriating the bricklayer, who then used a sharp knife he tucked under his belt to slit her throat, as the deceased was bleeding to death, Anuoluwapo stripped her naked and raped her. She was dead by the time he was done.
Rafiyat's dead body was discovered by her mom and sibling who then reported to the police. Vigilant neigbours testified that Anuoluwapo was the last person seen with rafiyat. The suspect was arrested at his home and upon interrogation, he confessed and brought out the murder weapon. he is currently awaiting trial.
