Father of twins crushed to death in Lagos

A 52 year old man was crushed to death by a telephone mast that fell from a 2 storey building in Marina, Lagos Island.

The deceased, popularly known as Baba Ibeji, according to eye witnesses and his colleagues who sell telephone accessories met his untimely death when he ran across Marina Street to fetch a waterproof cover for his goods as it was about to rain but was crushed by the mast as he made his way back to his shop.

An anonymous witness and close friend of the deceased stated that he warned baba ibeji not to go as the wind was blowing strongly, but he refused.
