Football coach and former green eagles player, Khadiri ikhana would have died in an accident he had in abeokuta, Ogun state a fortnight ago.
Ikhana, who was among the squad that won the 1980 Africa Nations cup was said to have collided with another vehicle opposite MKO stadium at Kuto, few metres away from the NUJ secretariat in abeokuta.
A reliable source reveals that Ikhana had earlier gone with a friend to the MKO abiola International stadium to drink beer and was already intoxicated before driving his car. When contacted on phone, Khadiri denied taking alcohol before the unfortunate event. The two cars involved were damaged beyond repair.
