Fugees singer, Lauryn Hill jailed for 3 months

Lauryn Hill of  'the Fugees' has been sentenced to 3 months in Jail for Tax evasion.

The 37 year old mother of six will be spending 3 months in home confinement after pleading guilty to failing to pay taxes on around £1.2million of earnings between 2005 and 2007.

The singer who has had five children with Bob Marley’s son Rohan claimed she pulled the plug on her career to protect her kids.

Lauryn shot into stardom in the fugees 1996 with UK No 1 singles Killing Me Softly and Ready Or Not.
