Haruna Ishola's son,Musiliu arrested for murder

Musiliu, a musician and son of late Apala singer,Haruna Ishola, has been arrested by the Lagos state police command for the death of a street urchin(agbero) at Ijora area of the state.

It all went down at a ceremony at 22 Aro Street, Ijora Badia, Lagos on June 8, 2013, where musiliu had gone to perform. while perfoming a group of agberos came to the venue and started demanding money from the musician and his band members( popular artists who came to the area  to perform always pay money to the thugs). Musiliu adamnatly refused to give them any money. 

The thugs became violent. A mobile police officer on guard shot sporadically in the air to scare them off, suddenly one of the thugs then attempted to snatch the officer's rifle and it was in the process, a tout by the name Mustapha Daramola was shot dead.

This angered his fellow hoodlums who then proceeded to the street and vandalised the vehicles oif the guests. They also attacked the musician and his entourage.

Musiliu has been tranferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba for questioning.
