MKO's wife, Siti Abiola escapes armed robbery attack

Siti Biobaku Abiola,the wife of late businessman and acclaimed winner of the june 12,1993 elections has every reason to thank her stars when some armed robbers visited her Abeokuta, Ogun state home recently.

The robbers came into her home at about 3am on that fateful day but they could not penetrate her main door before help came. my source reveals that it was Alhaja siti who saved the situation herself; The mother of four was said to have shouted at the top of her voice saying ''thief,thief'' severally before a vigilante group in the area arrived and gave the robbers a hot pursuit.

Siti was very lucky because the robbers had successfully raided the homes of 2 neighbours. Siti's father, Alhaji Biobaku was a cousin to late MKO abiola.
