Naija! Wonders will never end! some people are just wicked and cold blooded. A woman identified as Rosemary Nwachukwu has been arrested in Egbeda for child trafficking and for running an illegal orphanage.
A total of 25 children were rescued from her home and upon investigation it was discovered that she was had no records of the children and no evidence of how the children got under her care.She was using the orphanage to traffick the kids and to defraud members of the public.
The illegal orphanage by the name Saint Stephen Charity Foundation, a home for orphans and less privileged located at 30/32 Abiodun Adebanbo Street, Egbeda has been sealed off by the police. Rosemary is currently being detained at the Alausa Police Station and the children are in the custody of the lagos state government.
This orphanage has been in operation for over 18 years. I pray this lady stays in prison..this is just too inhumane.
