Kashim Shettima of Borno donated blood to a pregnant woman who was in need of transfusion during an unscheduled visit to Gen. Muhammadu Shuwa Memorial Hospital in Maiduguri on Sunday.

According to the commissioner for Health, Dr Salma Kolo, the kindhearted leader was moved by the woman's plight.

“The governor was disturbed by the condition of the woman and wanted to help.

“He later discovered through the medical attendants that his blood group matched that of the woman, so he decided to help out.

ehen!..this is what we should be hearing..instead of money looting and boxing matches going on in the federal house.... a very good and uncommon humanitarian service ushered by a Nigerian governor.Kudos sir!
