South African rapper, Kuli Chana shot by the police

SA rapper, Khuli Chana is currently recuperating in hospital after being shot by a police officer yesterday morning. Khuli had gone to get coffee at caltex garage in Midrand,SA,before a performance. As he was leaving, he tried to pass an unmarked minivan and was unexpectedly shot at.

Police claim the officers tried to stop his vehicle but he did not pull over, pedestrians even tried to flag his car down but he did not respond and 2 warning shots were fired.

Chana’s manager Refiloe Ramogase says Chana is lucky the bullets ended up in the vehicle’s seat.“He’s just very lucky that the bullets ended up in the vehicle’s seat. One bullet is lodged in his finger and there’s some shrapnel in his back.
