Deputy Governor of Taraba state, Umar garba was involved in a motor accident yesterday morning, Monday 7th oct.
Umar was on his way to pay a condolence visit to the Bauchi State governor, Isa Yuguda, on the death of his sister last week, when vehicles from his convoy collided with those of the emir of Bauchi,Suleiman Rilwanu Adamu, at Shafuri village, Bauchi State.
Witness reports reveal that the accident was caused when vehicles in the governor’s convoy, tried to overtake those in the Emir’s.the acting Governor was unharmed while two others were injured and about seven escort vehicles damaged.
Out of the 16 persons involved only 2 were injured.
