A former Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Chief Olayiwola Olakojo, has approached an Oyo State High Court for the dissolution of his marriage with his estranged wife, Mrs Oyindamola Olutola Olakojo. In the suit filed with number I/1236HD/13, the septugenarian politician accused Oyindamola of allegedly looting their Ibadan home in July 2012 after they had planned to travel to India and the United States of America respectively for a pre-arranged medical check-up.

According to Olakojo, she cancelled her trip abroad, refused to pay a reported N2.5 million for flight, accommodation and other expenses, which he gave to her, and returned to Ibadan where she allegedly carted away household utensils. He also wants the court to give an order directing the respondent to submit the child between them for DNA to ascertain his paternity.
