VP, Namadi Sambo loses N200 million to cow thieves

Vice president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Mr Namadi Sambo has been badly robbed. The quiet politician lost about 2000 cows worth over N200 million naira to armed men two weeks ago. The thieves dressed in military regalia struck the VP's farm along Birnin Gwari road, Kaduna State, where they allegedly loaded about 2000 imported special specie cows into big trucks and took off.

Cattle rustling has been rampant in the state for a while now, even the Emir of Zazzau has fallen victim to the robbers who stole about 250 cows from him. The state's Security service, 'Operation Yaki' is currently working with some army officers to investigate and fish out the culprits.
