Guys...did you notice that facebook...for the first time in 3years+(Since 2010).....experienced downtime early this morning? The social network was inaccessible for just close to 30 mins and users all over the world started complaining.The network showed an error message on its home screen as users struggled to log on.
‘Sorry, something went wrong’ the message replacing Facebook's home page stated.We’re working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.’
The Facebook team has released a statement on the outage;
'Earlier this morning, we experienced an issue that prevented people from posting to Facebook for a brief period of time.We resolved the issue quickly, and we are now back to 100 per cent. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.'This outage reportedly cost the company $500,000....that's about 300,000 pounds!.somebody's yearly salary in 30 minutes!...damn!
