What! Another Bomb attack foiled in Kano this afternoon

Another bomb attack has been foiled today in Kano state...and this time a school was targeted. According to a statement released by the Nigerian police force, a female suicide bomber was involved.

Policemen on duty at North-West University, Kano at 1:00pm today 27.07.2014 averted a bomb attack on the school. The vigilant police officers spotted a suspicious young female dressed in a flowing hijab approaching the school gate. They immediately isolated her, the explosives stripped around her body went off. Only the female suicide bomber died in the incident, 5 policemen sustained minor injuries and has been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
