A delegation of officials from the Federal Government and Lagos State Government visited the General Overseer of the Synagogue Church of all nations (SCOAN)at the church headquarters in Ikotun, Lagos, on Sunday, August 03, 2014.

The visit was part of an awareness campaign on the deadly Ebola virus. Among the delegation are Commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris, Special Adviser on Information & Strategy, Mr. Lateef Raji, official of the Centre for Disease Control, Dr. Frank Mahoney, Director, Centre for Disease Control, Professor Abdulsalami Nasidi and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Mr. Hakeem Bello.
Health commissioner Idris urged Joshua not to permit any victims from the affected countries into his church as it is popularly known that people with health problems from all over Africa flock the church for miracles. Idris further said;

“We have our strategies that we intend to share with you. Again, we need to know the resources you have here because whether it is one or two cases, if they are allowed to get out, it is a major problem. We are here to work together on how to contain this disease.”
