French President's ex-wife set to release book on his cheating escapades
Valerie Trierweiler, ex-wife of France's president, Francois Hollande is set to release a book this Thursday on her former husband's cheating and private life.
The tell-all book details all that led to their split plus the president’s secret relationships. It reveals that months after their public breakup he was trying to win her back with flowers,barrages of text messages and dinner invitations.Valerie lived with Hollande at the Elysee presidential palace for a year and a half until a gossip magazine exposed his secret relationship with actress Julie Gayet, 42, in January.The 320-page book written in secret, also describes how Hollande tore a bag of sleeping pills out of her hand when she tried to swallow them during their breakup.
It speaks of the president's coldness and mean-spirited stabs, and of his attempts to win her back after their breakup by sending up to 29 text messages in a day.The president is aware of the book and yet to comment on it
