Fatal accident occurs on 3rd mainland bridge this morning

An accident involving a Prado SUV jeep occurred this morning at the 3rd mainland bridge in Lagos.

Details are still very sketchy but eyewitnesses say the jeep somersaulted due to speed. While citizen rescuers tried to push the overturned jeep upright, the driver's neck was severed.

So far, the driver is the only casualty recorded. Rescue and emergency services have already arrived the scene. The accident occurred at about 10 am this morning and at the the time of drafting this report, 3MB is experiencing a severe traffic gridlock.
