I don't know if you know but Suarez has been trending since yesterday after he bit an italian player, Giorgio Chiellini during Uruguay's match with italy in the ongoing world cup.This is not the first time suarez is doing this kind of thing.....about 14 months ago, during liverpool's match with Chelsea, Suarez bit the arm of chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovica and he was punished with a 10 match ban.This his recent biting has been trending on twitter and facebook and people have yabbing him seriously...some called him a 'badger;, others say he is a closet 'cannibal' but i think he is a secretly troubled guy who bites when frustrated or angry. Well he has defended himself on the matter saying that it was an accidental contact (if i hear!).
Speaking to Uruguyan TV, said:
"These situations happen on the field. I had contact with his shoulder, nothing more. Things like that happen all the time."Asked about the prospect of FIFA action against him, Suarez said:
"I don't know anything about that. If FIFA analyse each case separately, it's going to be complicated."A senior FIFA official has said that Suarez would face a hearing concerning the issue and if found guilty, he coudl be banned from football for 2 years.
