A man detained in a Psychiatric hospital by his family for denouncing his beliefs in God has been released.

Mubarak bala who was locked up in a Kano pychiatric hospital was released on Friday following the ongoing strike by Nigerian doctors. Bala, who is currently residing with a friend, has agreed to put everything behind him and reconcile with his family.
