 Amnesty International had accused the Nigerian army of war crimes and human rights violation by releasing a video showing some soldiers participating in the slaughter of suspected Boko haram insurgents.

The army has now responded to the allegations through the director of defense information,Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade at a press briefing yesterday, August 6th.
