Atiku donates $10,000 to ailing Journalist

Former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar donated $10,000 (N1.5 million) to a Journalist identified as Anselm Odo who has been suffering from kidney failure.

He made this kind gesture after reading an appeal made on Anselm's behalf by the Nigeria Union of Journalists, FCT Council. The donation was made through the head of Atiku's Media Office, Mallam Garba Shehu.

Anselm is a journalist with the Voice of Nigeria, VON and needs N7 million to survive. He already has N1.5 million but still needs N5.5 million.
