Late Song queen, Christy Essien Igbokwe would have been 53 years old yesterday,November 11th of 2013. Her friends,associates,admirers and family shall be coming together on the 17th of November at the Intercontinental Hotel,Lagos to celebrate her.
Her last album which was due for release before her untimely death will be launched and her foundation which was focused on her passion for children shall be re-opened. It was called the ‘Essential Childcare Foundation’, but to preserve her legacy, the family is naming it ‘The Christy Essien Igbokwe Foundation’.
