Yesterday's World cup duel between Cameroon and Croatia was really an interesting one to watch..interesting in the sense that...it was full of drama. The Cameroonian side was pummelled 4 - 0 and 2 of their players, Benoit Assou- Ekotto and Alex Song, who also happen to be star players, put up a shameful......very shameful display of indiscipline.
Alex Song got the only red card of the game thus reducing the team to 10 men, after he needlessly elbowed Mario Mandžukić in the back as the Croatians went looking for a second goal in their Group A encounter. As if that was not enough salt to put to the heavy injury.....QPR defender, Benoit Assou Ekoto went ahead to headbutt his team mate, Benjamin Moukandjo after Moukandjo missed a chance to score. After the final whistle, Ekotto was still not satisfied as he was visibly livid. Eto'o had to take him to one part of the tunnel and calm him down.This was indeed very shameful to the african country and africa as a whole. I have been closely observing this assou Ekoto and he seems to be very hot tempered and feisty...even in their first match against Mexico..the guy was just shouting at his teammates if any one made a mistake.
PS : Eagles take note!..This should not happen in any of our matches and neither should you be beaten this disgracefully.
point of correction. "shameful to the african country and africa as a whole" Africa is a continent not a country. so it happens in the name of Cameroon not Africa.
