Eledumare punish poverty mentality! Just because of one piece of fish....this man got his wife 26 stitches....how evil! i pray the man gets a lenghty sentence or at least, a heavy fine.
The unfortunate incident occurred in the Ijanikin area of Lagos state. 34 year old Fatima Bankole is the first of three wives married by the devil-of-a-man, Alhaji kamoru Bankole. Trouble started for the poor lady on july 16th when she decided to break her fast using a piece of fish she took from a pot of stew prepared by the 3rd wife. This greatly angered the 3rd wife who then reported to their husband, Kamoru, adding that Fatima took the biggest fish in the pot.
Kamoru questioned Fatima on the matter and she replied that the fish was in pieces, mixed with the stew. not satisfied with the explanation, Kamoru attacked fatima, delivering several heavy punches on her face which got her 26 stitches. as if that was not enough, he locked her up in a room for 3 days before she escaped. She was then taken to a hospital by some kind hearted neighbours.
Fatima reveals that it was not the first time her husband had savagely beat her...she said that there was a time he even pulled her hair out leaving her with injuries. Kamoru has since been arrested and will be arraigned next week.
