Popular Abuja Plaza, Emab, has reopened after suffering a bomb blast attack last month. The shopping complex was reopened recently after extensive renovation and installation of Security equipment.
According to the manager of the plaza, Mr. Umeohia Nnaedu, all customers/business people entering the plaza are thoroughly searched.
“Right now, we have more sophisticated CCTVs. We check all the cars, both the bonnet and the boot and there is a single entrance for pedestrian walkway. All pedestrians that come into the plaza are searched,”On the other hamd, the plaza has recorded very low patronage as customers are still scared to go near the area because of last month's incident.
