Jamaican rapper, Vybz Cartel sentenced to life in Prison

Popular jamaican word player, Vybz Cartel was today sentenced to life in jail for Murder. Cartel, whose real names are Adidja Palmer will serve a minimum of 35 years before he is eligible for parole.

Vybz and three others were found guilty last month of murdering an old associate, Clive 'Lizard' Williams, in August 2011.

Williams was reportedly killed after he went to Kartel's home to discuss two missing illegal hand guns.This case, that has been in court since November 2013, came to an end this morning when presiding Judge,Justice Lennox Campbell slammed the murderers with the following sentences;

Adidja Palmer – LIFE IN PRISON (35 years before eligible for parole)
Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell – LIFE IN PRISON (25 years before eligible for parole)
Kahira Jones – LIFE IN PRISON (25 years before eligible for parole)
Andre St John – LIFE IN PRISON (30 years before eligible for parole).
